Each week, we break down the biggest moments from DC's Legends of Tomorrow, The Flash, Blackness Lightning, and Arrow — both here on EW.com and on SiriusXM'due south EW Live every Friday during Superhero Insider.
With Pointer, The Wink, and Black Lightning on hiatus until the Olympics are over, this week on Superhero Insider, we're focusing on DC'southward Legends of Tomorrow, which aired ane of its best episodes ever.
A touching bottle episode inspired past Groundhog Day, "Here I Get Again" is entirely focused on Zari (Tala Ashe), who finds herself trapped in an 60 minutes-long fourth dimension loop that restarts each time the Waverider explodes for a seemingly unknown reason. The script calls on Ashe to juggle both lighthearted moments (run across: that delightful mid-episode "fun montage") and heavier ones, like when Zari tries to pause the never-catastrophe cycle by killing herself, and Ashe proves she's more than than upwards to the chore. She perfectly conveys Zari's growing agony as she's forced to die over and over and over again, also equally Zari's growing amore for the squad. I tin can't make up one's mind what I enjoyed most well-nigh this episode: Ashe'south fantastic chemistry with the residuum of the bandage, particularly Nick Zano, or the heartwarming oral communication Zari gives to the Legends before she tries to cede herself to save them from the bomb. Hopefully, Zari'due south renewed commitment to the squad at the end of the hour means Ashe will be sticking effectually the show beyond this season.
